Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms cover your use of the Cut to the Chase Android app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
What the app is
Cut to the Chase is a free tool that analyzes a short-form video — one you already have access to, either via a link you share to the app or a file already on your device — to flag frames that stand out from the rest of the video. It's provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Your responsibility for what you scan
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to view and process any content you give the app, and for complying with the terms of service of whatever platform that content came from (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or otherwise). Cut to the Chase doesn't host, store, or redistribute any video content — it processes whatever you point it at, on your own device, and shows the results to you alone.
No affiliation
Cut to the Chase is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, or Google.
Provided as-is
The app is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranty of any kind. Frame detection is based on automated analysis and isn't guaranteed to find every hidden frame, or to never flag the wrong one. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app or these terms over time. If the terms change materially, we'll update the date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Who operates this app
Cut to the Chase is operated by Clanalytix Limited (company number 07114484), a company registered in England and Wales, registered office 101 Westway, London, W12 0PU.
